Houses 41/43Houses 41 and 43 provide 53 rooms in two, three, and four room shared flats. A three room handicapped-accessible flat is located on the ground floor. The rooms are around 16 square meters. Each shared flat has a set number of rooms, a bathroom with shower, toilet, and wash basin. A community kitchen with stove and refrigerator is located on every floor. The rooms are furnished (see furnishings and amenities). Please bring bedding (sheets, blankets, and a pillow) with you. Houses 48-50 (Max-Kade-Haus)Houses 48-50, the “Max Kade House,” provide 112 rooms in two, three, and four room shared flats. Please click here for more information on the Max Kade Foundation. Each shared flat has a set number of rooms, kitchen, and bathroom with shower, toilet, and wash basin. The four room shared flats have an additional toilet. The rooms are around 12-16 square meters in size. The rooms are furnished (see furnishings and amenities). The kitchens are furnished with cabinets, stove, refrigerator, and a table with chairs. Each shared flat has an intercom. Public TransportationThe bus stop Schlüterstraße/Forststraße is located directly in front of the residence halls. The train station Park Sanssouci is also nearby. The University of Potsdam’s campus Am Neuen Palais is located close to the residence halls. The Potsdam city can also be reached by foot or with your bike. The following bus stops and train stations are located near the residential arrangement: BUS 695, RE1, RB20, and RB21. With the bus, one is in the Potsdam city in around ten minutes where one can shop in numerous stores. With the train RE 1, one can reach the shopping mall at Potsdam’s train station in around five minutes.
