The draw will take place on the 2nd of October. All vacant places will be announced on the notice board in the Studentenwerk on the morning of October 2nd. Registration for the lottery will take place between 8 am and 9 am in the foyer of the Studentenwerk (Babelsberger Straße 2, 14473 Potsdam).

- Proof of identity in the form of an identity card/passport
- You have to appear in person
- 300 € deposit + 1st month's rent – We also accept card payment (Giro, VISA, Master etc.)
The room raffle will take place at 10.00 am. The leases will be signed immediately afterwards.
Am I eligible to reside?
Please check the following according to our procurement guidelines, whether you are entitled to residency. Only students who meet the conditions set out therein can be granted a place to stay.
Which rooms are still available on the day of the room raffle?
On the day of the room raffle, all apartments that have not yet been allocated will be part of the raffle. Among other things, vacant places will also be allocated for the new building on the Golm campus. The new building is scheduled to be completed by October 14th or November 1st.
However, more detailed information on the number of vacant places and the respective form of housing can only be provided on the day of the free allocation. Experience of the past years has shown that on this day rooms in shared flats as well as beds in our double rooms are predominantly available. If you are interested in a place in a double room, it is possible that you can name one of your desired flatmates directly when you win a lottery ticket. The second person should also be present for the subsequent conclusion of the contract.
